This former Miss World with the captivating blue-green eyes has captured the hearts and imagination of millions of male admirers in her native India. Aishwarya Rai may not be well known outside of Asia, but we think it's only a matter of time (and perhaps a role in a Western film) before India's jewel becomes the whole world's darling.

Aishwarya Rai was crowned Miss World in 1994. She had previously done some modeling, and became well known in India after appearing in an ad for Pepsi. Since winning the Miss World title, she has become one of the most popular stars of India's huge film industry known as Bollywood.

Nicole Kidman Pregnancy Rumours Continue
Nicole Kidman has dropped out of a new movie, allegedly because she doesn't want to work while pregnant.
The actress was due to start filming post-World War II Germany drama The Reader later this month, but industry insiders say she has pulled out through fear her workload may harm her unborn baby.
The Golden Compass star was asked by a reporter in Sydney on Friday if she was pregnant but refused to answer either way.
Her rep Catherine Olim also refused to comment on the latest rumours.
But a source told PageSix: "Of course, everyone knows she's pregnant and lying about it."
Another source claims a Vanity Fair editor was recently overheard discussing bringing forward the date of Nicole's photoshoot for the magazine because of her pregnancy.
The insider said: "It's because the costumes she's set to wear won't fit her much longer."
Meanwhile, Matthew Frankel, a spokesman for the Weinstein Company who are producing The Reader insists that "the status on The Reader has not changed."

Jessica Alba Hits Out At Paparazzi
Jessica Alba has hit out at the paparazzi in a new magazine interview.
The Fantastic Four actress – who is well known for her dislike of being papped – says she is too 'boring' to warrant the attention.
After making an illegal right turn in her car and nearly being plowed into by a Mercedes, Jess reportedly told a journalist for Elle: "[The paparazzi are] Fuckers! They do this [follow] to me every day. And every day there's no story. I'm not doing drugs. I'm not running over people. I'm not going to clubs. I'm not dating anyone famous.
"I'm not doing anything interesting! I don't get it. I'm the most boring chick ever."
Jess also takes a pop at High School Musical star, Zac Efron, in the new issue of American Elle, calling the 20-year-old actor, "a child with a lot of makeup."
